Claudio Cugini Ghost Orchid

EUROPE

We are looking for European residents to submit their records of Epipogium and any other habitat data to add to our European-wide database.

A thorough data set of European records will enable us to identify trends and patterns in occurrence and flowering throughout Europe, with a particular emphasis on the numbers of flowering plants and specific plant sizes. In addition, weather data, indicator species abundance and the presence of Inocybe fungal bodies is all vital information and will help to form correlations between European conditions and those here in the UK.

This will ultimately allow us to determine the exact needs of the species in order to aid the conservation of the Ghost Orchid and its associated habitats.
